    Default Make check box Bold?

Please see attached, how do I make the check boxes that are checked show more clearly?

I have tried setting the font to bold but that does not work.

To my understanding, you can't style checkboxes (or radio buttons) with css. You need to use a javascript plugin in order to 'switch them out for images'.

    Keith,

It appears that the check boxes are not updateable, hence the dimmed appearance, which is normal for that state.

Good UI/UX would be to present non-editable data in a different view.

    Note:

    Choice1 set to Bold
Choice2 set to Uneditable (after I entered the test data)
    Choice3 set to default

    Cheers!

    Hi Lyle,

Thanks again for your reply to my new question.

I'm playing the dumb card here as I don't understand what you have shown me.

Maybe not ideal but you could use conditional images referencing the fields you have

    Hi Keith,

In the first image, there is a non editable grid on the top with an editable detail view below. In that detail view the three three Choices fields are each showing a different style of formatting:

Choice1 shows text set to bold; Choice2 shows how you have your example in your first post here... dimmed out; that is because the Choice2 field has been set to non editable, as I believe your fields are; Choice3 is the default styling.

The second image shows a non editable grid that shows the same data as in the first image. This is what I was alluding to when I said that perhaps you should consider a different way to display your data if it is not able to be edited. Presenting a User with check boxes that cannot be changed, regardless of how they are styled, is confusing. Don't believe me? ... just ask one! ... they'll complain to you that they can't change them! ... "it's broken" LOL
