Not loading in the whole data-only part?

Hello there, having problems with our database which is very basic and we access it though the alpha software, there are five of us that use it nationally, since the servers (american!) have updated their server security i have had to whitelist all our ips so that we can get access, the servers seem to be running really slow and although my loading is ok, the data that im inputting isnt being seen by the others? theres all sorts of niggles with it, is it the servers who are fobbing me off or is it a software problem? the guy who set it up has moved to australia and i know nothing about online databases but ive managed so far until this point, all members need to get access to our client list at all times.

Any help would be appreciated.

No its a new problem. You kindly helped me before with the error i was getting before the servers changed their security without telling their customers. That was sorted thanks to you.

Now though its new problems and im thinking of just getting someone local in and new uk servers. I need to know how to export the chat comments though but i wll see if i can solve the issue first hopefully.

So you Whitelisted in Explorer - Trusted sites?
No Firewall issues your end?
If everything was working prior to the server security update Bev, that's the most likely cause of the slow down.
I'd probably ask them to specify the security changes and areas where they were made, and to provide details of a connection path which is at least as fast as the previous installation.
Is someone actually hosting the Alpha installation or just providing a passthrough to the data on a machine in the UK?
If you are thinking of a lift and shift for the application on a server, Zebra have a lot of experience with Alpha systems and post on the WAS Forum, so it might be worth contacting them.
